The annual Cheltenham Abington Football game was held on November 22, 2007

 at C.H.S. stadium, unfortunately our CHS Panthers lost 45 to 7.

The Cheltenham High School Girls' basketball team defeated Council

Rock North 68 to 54 at State College on Friday, March

23rd.  Cheltenham now has won two state titles, the other was in 2000

when they defeated Oakland Catholic 54-52.

     The Panthers were lead by Brittany Gunn (18 points), Ashley Gale

 (27 points) and Misha Horsey who had 11.

      The team was in control from the beginning and never trailed.

                    CONGRATULATIONS LADY PANTHERS.

Reggie Jackson, class of 1964; was inducted into the

 Philadelphia  Sports Hall of Fame on April 6, 2006.

Shayla Johnson – class of 2000 is currently coaching girls’9th

grade basketball at CHS. Johnson was part of the Lady Panthers

team that won the PIAA Class AAAA title in 2000

Harris Mansell, class of 2005 is a freshman playing basketball at Rider.

Larry Greene, class of 1971 longtime head foorball coach at Central Bucks East High School in Bucks County, PA. Has decided to resign after 28 years in coaching. Greene missed the 2005 season after being diagnosed with malignant myeloma. He said his health did not influence his decision to resign.
